Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the dentist chairside across a variety of procedures including general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry treatments, including whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers.
Assisting with surgical extractions and implant procedures. (All on X procedure is highly regarded but not essential)
Preparing and sterilising instruments and maintaining a safe, compliant clinical environment.
Supporting treatment planning, clinical charting, and accurate patient record-keeping.
Assisting with clinical stock, ordering, and inventory control.
Educating patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Leading by example in patient care, infection control, and clinical excellence.
Identifying opportunities to improve clinical workflows and assisting dentists to become more efficient.
Providing patients with a calm, reassuring chairside experience from start to finish.
Occasional Reception work if needed such as answering phone calls, invoicing and booking appointments (Training would be provided).
What we are looking for:
A min of 2 years of Australian dental assistant experience.
Must possess Australian work rights. Overseas dentists and ADC candidates welcome to apply.
Team player with excellent communication and time management skills
Is a friendly, professional, hard working and patient-focused person
Has the ability to work independently, stick to the mandates and follow instructions
Experience with D4Web will be highly regarded but not essential
Can show initiative, attention to detail, and has a genuine desire to help patients and the team.
Hours & Pay
Part-time, four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
Approximate hours: 8:45 – 6pm.
Pay - $28 - $35 per hour based on experience.
