About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established leader in waste management and resource recovery, operating one of the regions most advanced FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics) processing facilities located in Woodlawn. With a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and environmental sustainability, they are looking to expand their team with a motivated Depot Hand/ Cleaner.
Roster:
Monday to Friday: 6am 2pm (overtime can be available)
What you will be doing:
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the FOGO facility.
Perform manual picking and sorting of incoming FOGO materials.
Assist with efficient processing and general housekeeping.
Operate site equipment, including Columbian Tipper where required.
Conduct daily equipment checks.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks as required.
Provide general operational support to the business unit.
Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures.
Work to required customer, safety and performance standards.
What you will need:
- Drivers licence Class C
- Operating machinery (desirable, not essential)
- Able to pass a National Police Clearance
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol testing
- Ability to work as part of a team
