The exciting opportunity as our Deputy Director of Nursing:

• Support the Director of Nursing to enable smooth running of our 129-bed Lake Cathie aged care home
• Provide clinical leadership, direct, empower and support the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality person-centred care
• Oversee data collection, review clinical indicators and support the introduction of continuous improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation compliance
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with residents and their families, address feedback and deliver exceptional customer service
• Contribute to clinical risk and medication advisory meetings to ensure best practice care is provided

About you:

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA and experience working as a Clinical Nurse Manager in residential aged care

• In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements, with a proven ability maintaining compliance in clinical practice

• Nurturing, supportive and approachable leader who sets clear expectations and promotes collaboration to achieve team success
• Energetic, passionate, positive, motivated, resilient, and demonstrates professionalism in a dynamic high-pressure environment
• Committed to person-centred and relationship-based care that upholds the dignity and respect of all residents
