About the Client
Our Client is a national leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, specialising in steel and heavy manufacturing. With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, they are expanding their team and seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their workforce in Pinkenba with both Day and Afternoon shift available.
What you will be doing
As a Manufacturing and Production Worker you will be responsible for:
- Conducting prestart checks on all plant and equipment
- Picking and assembling associated building accessories
- Filling coil bays of raw materials around machines
- Filling tie wire stands at machines
- Operating loading PCs and RF scanners
- Emptying steel scrap bins and assisting in scrap recovery off machines
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Availability for a day shift role
- Current QLD High Risk Forklift Licence with operating experience (ideal)
- Experience in the steel or heavy manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of and commitment to WH&S obligations in the workplace
- High level of self-motivation and ownership
- Current drivers licence and reliable transport
