Pace Appointments is partnering with a well-established, Australian-owned freight forwarder with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer service. Located in Sydney’s South West, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team where your experience will be recognised and your career can continue to grow.

If you're looking to escape the corporate environment and become part of a business where everyone works together, this could be the perfect fit.

The Opportunity

Working within a collaborative team, you'll take ownership of your own import shipments from booking through to final delivery. The role is predominantly Import Seafreight (approximately 90%), with occasional airfreight movements, giving you plenty of variety while allowing you to build strong relationships with customers, overseas agents and service providers.

You'll enjoy autonomy in your day while having the support of an experienced team around you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Import Seafreight operations (FCL & LCL)
  • Coordinate import bookings with overseas offices and agents
  • Liaise with customers, customs brokers, transport providers and shipping lines
  • Arrange cartage and monitor shipment milestones through to delivery
  • Complete invoicing and operational documentation
  • Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple shipments

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in International Freight Forwarding
  • Strong Import Seafreight operations experience
  • Experience using CargoWise One
  • Sound understanding of import procedures, Incoterms and transport coordination
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to prioritise, multitask and work well within a team

  • Stable, Australian-owned business with an excellent reputation
  • Convenient South West Sydney location
  • Friendly, supportive and experienced team
  • Genuine career development and ongoing mentoring
  • Diverse customer base and varied freight movements
