Our client is a well established, respected and leading company within the landscape gardening industry, currently looking to add a Construction Assistant to their team. This position can be seen as a Team Leader role, being a direct pathway into a Supervisory role in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Construction Supervisors with both hard and soft scape applications, as well as irrigation across the Perth Metro Area.
- Establish and maintain the site (amenities, fencing, access, traffic management), perform daily setup tasks, coordinate deliveries, and operate plant/equipment as required.
- Coordinate subcontractors and on-site staff, complete daily site diaries and quality documentation, attend meetings and training, participate in company communication processes, and perform other reasonable duties aligned with the role.
- Implement and maintain safety systems, documentation and reporting (pre-starts, inductions, permits, SWMS, inspections, incident reporting),
- Any other general construction trade assistant / gardening duties, working independently when supervisors are off site.

Requirements:
- Previous experience within the construction, civil, landscape and / or gardening industry.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to deal with various subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manual drivers licence and construction white card.
- Full Australian working rights and available for a long-term, full-time role.
