Engineering People are a specialist recruitment partner within the engineering and technical sector.
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join a well-established, Australian-owned manufacturer based in Dandenong South. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity on day shift with a strong, team-focused workshop environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for:

Setting and operating CNC lathes from workshop drawings

Working with FANUC-controlled machines

Ensuring quality, accuracy and safe work practices at all times
Shift:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm (early finish)
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience setting and operating CNC lathes with FANUC controls
✔ Ability to read and work from workshop drawings
✔ Strong commitment to safety
✔ Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Highly Regarded

Experience with tooling setup and making tooling adjustments
