Creative and Performing Arts Faculty Coordinator | Senior Education Leader

Seeking a dedicated Creative and Performing Arts Faculty Coordinator to lead and enhance educational achievements across creative disciplines within a well-established independent school. This is a full-time permanent position based in a regional area of New South Wales, offering a supportive and community-focused learning environment.

About the role

  • Mandatory: Current teaching accreditation and a track record of leadership in Visual Arts, Music, and Drama curriculum delivery.
  • Salary guide: $135,000 to $155,000 per annum inclusive of a leadership allowance.
  • Location: Regional New South Wales.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Creative and Performing Arts faculty, ensuring curriculum and teaching standards comply with state educational requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day faculty operations, oversee student progress, and implement evidence-based instructional practices.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and deliver engaging curriculum programs across Visual Arts, Music, and Drama.
  • Support faculty professional development aligned with the school's strategic aims and values.
  • Administer faculty resources, budgeting, event coordination, and community engagement including excursions and guest presentations.
  • Maintain faculty compliance with educational frameworks and advise students on subject selection.
  • Work collaboratively with school leadership, support teams, and other departments to improve student outcomes and wellbeing.
  • Lead academic and pastoral care initiatives to sustain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
