Summary

Our client, Elegant Beauty & Brows, is seeking to add a Beauty Therapist to its Nerang salon team, delivering professional beauty, brow, lash and skin-care services in a welcoming client-focused environment. The role will provide treatments including eyebrow threading and shaping, tinting, waxing, lash services, facials and skin-care advice while maintaining high standards of hygiene, presentation and personalised customer care.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Consult with clients to understand beauty needs, preferences and suitable treatment options.

• Perform eyebrow threading, shaping and precision brow services to professional salon standards.

• Provide brow tinting, lash tinting and lash lift treatments according to client requirements.

• Deliver facial treatments and recommend appropriate skin-care routines based on individual client needs.

• Perform waxing services safely while maintaining client comfort, privacy and professional treatment standards.

• Analyse skin characteristics and recommend suitable beauty treatments, products and aftercare requirements.

• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, infection control and treatment-area cleanliness throughout daily operations.

• Manage appointments, walk-in clients and treatment schedules to support efficient salon workflow.

• Maintain accurate client records, treatment information, preferences and relevant aftercare recommendations.

• Provide clients with clear aftercare guidance following brow, lash, facial and waxing treatments.

• Assist clients with suitable cosmetic, beauty and skin-care product recommendations where appropriate.

• Build positive client relationships and encourage repeat bookings through consistent professional customer service.

• Support day-to-day salon operations and collaborate effectively with other beauty therapy team members.

• Monitor treatment quality and ensure beauty services meet established salon procedures and presentation standards.

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

• Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, or a closely comparable recognised qualification relevant to the position.

• Minimum 12 months' recent, directly relevant experience working as a Beauty Therapist or closely comparable role.

• Demonstrated practical experience in eyebrow threading, shaping, brow tinting, lash tinting and lash lift treatments.

• Practical experience delivering facial treatments, skin-care recommendations and waxing services within a professional salon environment.

• Sound knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, infection control and workplace safety requirements applicable to beauty treatments.

• Ability to conduct client consultations and recommend suitable treatments based on skin type, preferences and individual needs.

• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to manage appointments and maintain positive client relationships.

• Ability to work efficiently within a busy salon environment while maintaining consistent treatment quality and professional presentation.
