Outbound Manager

About the Opportunity 

We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and hands-on Outbound Manager to lead our dispatch operations and team in Archerfield. 

In this role, you’ll: 

• Lead, support, and develop the dispatch team to achieve daily operational requirements. 

• Coordinate the accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders. 

• Manage daily workflow and priorities to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently. 

• Coordinate freight and transport requirements, working closely with carriers and internal teams. 

• Monitor order accuracy and help resolve dispatch, freight, and delivery issues. 

• Ensure dispatch processes, documentation, and systems are completed accurately. 

• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and organisation across the dispatch area. 

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, and overall dispatch performance. 

• Work collaboratively with Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, and other teams to deliver a great customer experience. 

About You 

You could be a perfect fit if you: 

• Have experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics, or distribution, ideally within a fast-paced environment. 

• Have previous team leadership or supervisory experience with medium to large teams with over 10 staff and enjoy developing others. 

• Are a hands-on leader who is comfortable jumping in and supporting the team when required. 

• Have strong organisation and planning skills and can confidently manage competing priorities. 

• Understand freight, transport, picking, packing, and dispatch processes. 

• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in accuracy and getting things right the first time. 

• Are confident using warehouse, inventory, freight, or ERP systems. 

• Communicate clearly and work well with both internal teams and external transport providers. 

• Bring a positive, solutions-focused approach and look for ways to continuously improve. 

• Have a current Forklift Licence – highly regarded.
