Join a Tier 1 construction contractor delivering complex structural works in a live marine environment. You will work FIFO 2/1 into Western Australia on an initial 3-month contract, with flights available from major Australian cities and genuine potential to extend.

The Role
You will support the delivery of structural works across a complex marine construction package, working closely with project leadership, supervisors, subcontractors, designers and client representatives.
This is a practical site engineering role covering technical coordination, RFIs, constructability, planning, quality documentation, progress tracking and day-to-day problem solving to keep work fronts moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate structural engineering and construction activities on site
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, design clarifications and constructability issues
- Support sequencing, methodology, planning and short-term construction programs
- Work closely with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and client representatives
- Track progress, productivity, quality requirements and project documentation
- Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination, cost tracking and forecasting where required
- Drive compliance with safety, environmental, quality and contractual requirements
- Provide clear updates, practical solutions and proactive issue resolution
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering
- Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer experience on major construction projects
- Strong structures background across marine, bridge, wharf, port, heavy civil or complex infrastructure works
- Confidence managing technical interfaces, site engineering and subcontractor coordination
- Solid understanding of quality systems, safety standards, construction methodology and project controls
- Ability to work FIFO 2/1 and hit the ground running in a busy site environment
- Clear communication, strong stakeholder management and sound problem-solving skills
