Carpenter – Full-Time

Prawat Enterprises Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials.
- Construct, erect and install wall frames, roof framing and other structural components.
- Install flooring, external cladding, door frames, window frames, fixtures and fittings.
- Select and prepare appropriate materials for construction and installation work.
- Check completed structures to ensure they are level, square, plumb and completed according to specifications.
- Construct and assemble formwork where required.
- Renovate, repair and replace existing timber structures and fittings.
- Use carpentry tools, machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Carpentry or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
- Demonstrated knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
