The role will work across business and technology functions to define requirements, map processes and system interfaces, and deliver customer-focused digital solutions using Agile practices.

Emmbr are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a major in-house platform replacement program within a technology operations team. The role will work across business and technology functions to define requirements, map processes and system interfaces, and deliver customer-focused digital solutions using Agile practices.
About the Role
- Elicit, analyse and document business and system requirements
- Map current and future-state processes and system interfaces
- Define scope, dependencies, impacts, risks and delivery priorities
- Translate requirements into user stories with development-ready acceptance criteria
- Facilitate discovery workshops, story elaboration and requirements reviews
- Support Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives and showcases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders and vendors
- Support change management and the successful implementation of new processes and technology
About You
- Five or more years' experience as a Business Analyst in a digital environment
- Must have experience in Financial Services, preferably lending
- Demonstrated Agile business analysis experience
- Experience supporting a core platform replacement or system migration, preferably in financial services
- Experience facilitating discovery and process-mapping workshops
- Strong user-story development and acceptance-criteria writing skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to manage scope, prioritise work and translate business needs into practical technology solutions
