Residential Production Estimator

A full-time permanent role within a well-established, growing construction company that builds custom homes based in the Northeastern suburbs of Melbourne. For a Production Estimator, Building Estimator, Estimating Coordinator, or Residential Estimator interested in. the planning and construction of custom-built homes.

• Requires 3 - 5 years of residential estimating experience 
• Salary depends on experience 
• Melbourne Northeastern suburbs

A normal day includes 

• Preparing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents for estimation.
• Completing precise and cost-effective project estimates for materials and labor
• Collaborating with designers, engineers, and site teams.
• Coordinating and communicating with suppliers and trades as needed.
• Preparing margin reports and analyze ETSs/ETOs.
• Enhancing processes through ongoing development.

You will need

• 5+ years of residential estimating experience, including medium-density/unit developments.
• Qualifications in Building and Construction, Design, or Engineering.
• Proficient in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, soil reports, and contracts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Databuild and/or Business Craft is a plus.
