We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic early childhood professional ready to take on a dual role that blends leadership, mentorship, and everyday joy.
As our right-hand hero (also known as 2IC), you’ll be the go-to support for the Service Manager – helping keep our day-to-day magic running smoothly. From staying on top of compliance and operational flow to cheering on your team, you’ll play a vital part in what makes our service shine. At the same time, you’ll lead with vision as our Educational Leader – bringing heart, curiosity, and a deep understanding of early learning frameworks to guide our team. You’ll shape rich, play-based, child-led programs and turn great pedagogy into everyday moments of wonder.

What you’ll need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a current Second in Charge role
- Proven experience in an Educational Leader capacity
- Well-developed knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Childhood Development and Play-based Child-drive Pedagogy
- Current Working with Children Check
- Mandatory National Child Safety Training
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training..
- Confidence when communicating with all levels of management.
- A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within our service
