Support Service Worker - Townsville

Mercy Community is seeking Part-Time and Casual Support Service Workers to join our friendly and dedicated team at Loreto. In this role, you’ll make a real difference every day by delivering high-quality hospitality and support services that enhance the wellbeing of our residents.

 What you’ll do

As a Support Service Worker, no two days are the same! You’ll take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents through:

Kitchen & Dining:

• Assisting with the preparation, assembly, and delivery of nutritious meals
• Supporting dietary needs and preferences
• Preparing beverages and serving meals to HACCP standards
• Keeping dining areas clean, inviting, and enjoyable

Cleaning & Laundry:

• Maintaining resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard
• Conducting full cleans of vacated rooms to welcome new residents
• Delivering laundry services with care and efficiency

 About you

You’re a compassionate and reliable team player who takes pride in your work. You bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to supporting others.

• Certificate III in Hospitality (or equivalent) – desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role – desirable
• Valid police check or willingness to obtain one
