We are a highly regarded not-for-profit, values-based organisation, offering residential, community and in-home aged care for over 30 years, to older people living in and around the city of Manningham.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Analyst - Project Officer to join MannaCare’s Quality, Risk & Compliance team on a 12-month full-time max-term contract.
The primary purpose of this project is to thoroughly examine MannaCare’s systems, processes and practices, leaving no stone unturned to identify and implement meaningful improvements that deliver better outcomes for our clients and residents.
Supporting MannaCare’s Quality, Risk & Compliance Uplift Program with project coordination, governance and reporting support to strengthen quality, risk and compliance systems across the organisation. You will work closely with clinical, operational and corporate teams and will analyse processes, identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities that can translate into practical solutions.
What you will deliver
Over the 12-month contract, you will help MannaCare thoroughly examine its quality, risk, safety and compliance systems—leaving no stone unturned—to identify practical improvements that deliver better outcomes for our clients and residents.
Working with executives, managers and nominated workstream owners, you will help deliver:
- A clearly defined and prioritised Quality, Risk & Compliance Uplift Program with strong governance, ownership, milestones and decision pathways.
- Improved systems and practices aligned with aged care legislation, regulatory standards and MannaCare’s operating model.
- More consistent processes, controls, documentation and performance measures across residential, community and corporate services.
- Reliable executive and Board reporting that supports timely decisions, escalation and assurance.
- Demonstrable benefits, including stronger compliance, improved operational efficiency, reduced risk exposure and sustainable ways of working.
Your 12-month focus
- Months 1–3: Establish the program, assess current systems and gaps, and agree on the highest-priority initiatives.
- Months 4–9: Coordinate and support the delivery of approximately three to five priority workstreams.
- Months 10–12: Evaluate adoption and benefits, confirm outstanding risks, and support the transition of improvements into business-as-usual operations.
This is a collaborative delivery role. You will provide program coordination, business analysis, reporting and implementation support, while executives, managers and nominated workstream owners remain accountable for approving, resourcing and embedding changes within their areas.

About You
- Relevant aged-care sector experience.
- Experience in business analysis, transformation or program governance.
- Requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder facilitation.
- Executive reporting, risk and issue management.
- Strong analysis, communication and influencing skills.
- Relevant qualification or equivalent substantial experience.
