Are you an experienced Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business based in Yass that is looking to strengthen their operations team with a proactive and detail-driven planner.
 
This is a key role within the site, responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with customer demand.
 
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules
• Balancing capacity, labour, and material availability
• Coordinating closely with procurement, warehousing, and production teams
• Monitoring inventory levels to minimise waste and optimise stock turns
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting S&OP processes and forecasting activities

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in production planning within food or FMCG manufacturing
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
