Technical Lead / L4 Senior Network Engineer

Clicks IT Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking a significant network transformation programme. Joining a close-knit team of three network specialists, you'll play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects, helping alleviate existing workload pressures while driving modernisation initiatives across the business.
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity where you'll lead the delivery of a network simplification programme, including carrier consolidation, infrastructure modernisation, and the implementation of an SD-WAN overlay across seven sites (with an eighth site potentially being added). You'll also contribute to a large-scale Wi-Fi rollout across branch locations while working with a contemporary enterprise networking and security stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of network transformation and simplification initiatives
- Design and implement SD-WAN solutions across multiple sites
- Drive carrier consolidation and network modernisation activities
- Support the rollout of enterprise Wi-Fi services across branch locations
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Skills & Experience
Must Have
- Extensive experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Technical Lead
- Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies
- Deep knowledge of Fortinet/FortiGate environments
- Strong routing and switching expertise within enterprise networks
- Experience delivering large-scale network transformation projects
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Zscaler security solutions
- Experience with Cisco ACI
- Knowledge of Akamai technologies
- Experience working across multi-site enterprise environments
