About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on and motivated General Hand/Bale Press Operator to join our Distribution team at our Mitchell warehouse. The key focus of this role is operating our bale press,packing and pressing excess clothing and footwear into 200kg bales ready for storage and transportation. You’ll also be part of the action across the warehouse, helping with receipting, sorting, moving and distributing goods and pitching in wherever your team needs a hand.

If you enjoy keeping busy and seeing the results of your work, you’ll feel right at home in this role. It’s an active position involving regular movement, lifting and handling of goods, with safety always front of mind. You’ll help keep stock moving and support the wider Distribution team to get the job done efficiently. A current Driver’s Licence is required, with the opportunity to operate a small truck when needed. This role offers a varied work schedule across weekdays and Saturdays.

About You

You’re someone who enjoys being part of a team and working in a busy warehouse environment. You’re happy to roll up your sleeves, get involved and lend a hand where needed, while bringing a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork. You’re organised, dependable and able to stay focused throughout your day-to-day warehouse tasks. You’re comfortable following instructions, working independently when needed and using your initiative to get things done. Most importantly, you’re ready to get stuck in and play your part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly.

To be successful in this role, you’ll hold a current Driver’s Licence. A Forklift Licence is not required but will be highly regarded. You’ll also need to complete a National Police Check and hold, or obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card before commencing.
