Known for their reliability, professionalism and customer service, they are looking for an experienced MR Driver to join their close-knit team and play a key role servicing regular customers throughout the ACT.
Your new role
If you enjoy being out on the road and take pride in doing the job right, this could be the role for you. You'll be responsible for completing site-to-site freight deliveries across Canberra and surrounding areas, ensuring freight arrives safely, on time and with excellent service.Your duties will include:
Driving a 12-pallet Pantech truck throughout Canberra and surrounding areas
Completing site-to-site freight deliveries to commercial and industrial customers
Loading and unloading freight using pallet jacks, trolleys and manual handling techniques
Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Providing excellent customer service while representing the business
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the truck
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need: A current MR or HR License
Previous experience driving MR or HR trucks
Good knowledge of Canberra roads and experience reversing into tight loading docks and delivery points
A professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
A White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness ticket will be highly regarded
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
