We are currentlyseeking experienced Dual Trade E&I Technicians / Electricians for anongoing opportunity with a leading mining operation in North West Queensland.

An internationallyrecognised mining company operating one of Queensland's largest undergroundmining operations is seeking experienced Dual Trade E&I Technicians /Electricians to join their maintenance team on an ongoing basis.
Your new role
- As a Dual TradeE&I Technician / Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining theReliability and safety of electrical and instrumentation systems across theSite. Working on an 8/6 day shift roster (night shift as required), yourResponsibilities will include
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across instrumentation, control and electrical systems
- Carrying out repairs, installations, servicing and commissioning activities
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime
- Supporting surfacemaintenance operations
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection records
- Ensuring all work iscompleted safely and in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements
What you'll need to succeed
Dual Trade Electrical & Instrumentation qualification preferred Qualified Electrician with hazardous area experience as a minimum 3-5 years' experience in mining or heavy industry Process plant maintenance experience Experience with HVswitchgear, motor controls, VSDs, PLCs and process control instrumentation Hazardous Area experience highly regarded Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety and statutory compliance
