Safety & Training Coordinator
Do you possess a passion for safety and a knack for training? Join a global mining contractor as our Safety & Training Coordinator and ensure that our robust safety standards are upheld every step of the way. With projects spanning almost every continent, you'll be the linchpin in fostering a culture of safety and development within an international setting.
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for signing off personnel on mobile plant equipment, conducting onboarding inductions for new employees, and leading incident investigations. You'll be the key catalyst for risk assessment and management while engaging in leadership activities to empower our workforce.
Required Skills:
- Cert IV in Health and Safety.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in underground mining.
Nice to Have Skills:
- S1, 2, 3 or G2 qualifications to amplify your safety credentials.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A solid background in Health and Safety and Training is essential.
- Previous experience working within the mining industry is highly valued.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to onsite locations.
- Dedication to maintaining a high standard of safety and training across all sites.
