About the Role
This gold mine is on the move - new portals are being developed right now, and we're looking for an Underground Shift Boss to help lead the charge. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly developing underground operation and make your mark from day one.
Running small 8-man crews means you'll be hands-on, close to the face, and directly involved in shaping how development ramps up across the site. If you're a newer Shift Boss looking for the platform to prove yourself, build your reputation, and grow alongside a site that's genuinely growing too, this is it.

Duties
- Supervising a small underground development crew across new portal advances
- Coordinating daily development activities including drill and blast, ground support, and loading
- Driving safe, efficient production in a fast-paced, evolving underground environment
- Reporting to the Mine Supervisor/Manager and working closely with the broader site team
- Contributing directly to site planning as new areas of the mine come online
Skills & Experience
- Current WA Shift Boss Ticket (essential)
- Underground hard rock development experience
- A proactive, safety-first mindset
- Confidence leading a small crew and keeping communication tight in a growing operation
