Risk Adviser

Company Overview

We are working with a highly regarded organisation in Sydney that is looking to add an experienced Risk Adviser to their team. This business offers career progression, strong collaboration and promotes a supportive working environment.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work with an established client base, providing tailored personal risk advice across life, TPD, income protection and trauma insurance.

You will be responsible for managing the advice process from initial client conversations through to implementation, while working closely with the broader advice team to deliver a high level of client service.

Responsibilities 

• Providing quality personal risk advice to new and existing clients
• Conducting client meetings and identifying protection needs
• Developing and presenting tailored risk strategies
• Managing the advice and implementation process
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Working collaboratively with Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and the broader support team
• Maintaining high standards of compliance and documentation

Skills & Experience

• Several years of experience providing personal risk advice
• FASEA education requirements completed
• Strong technical knowledge across life, TPD, income protection and trauma insurance
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• A client-focused approach and strong attention to detail
• The ability to manage your own client relationships and advice process
• Relevant financial planning qualifications and industry experience
