Join Aurizon's Containerised Freight & Growth team as a Terminal Operations Coordinator in West Kalgoorlie. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to coordinate terminal operations for Australia’s Largest Rail Freight Operator, while contributing to sustainable transport solutions.
About the role:
- Coordinate daily terminal operations to ensure efficient freight movement
- Liaise with train crews, customers, and logistics partners to maintain smooth operations
- Monitor and report on operational performance and safety metrics
- Support planning and scheduling of container movements
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
About you:
- Experience in logistics, freight, or transport operations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
- Safety-focused approach to work
- Willingness to work 8/6 roster
Any of the following attributes would be highly regarded
- MC licence.
- Reach stacker ticket
- High risk heavy forklift licence.
- DG licence.
