Your new company
Join a respected, purpose-led medical research organisation focused on improving health outcomes through research, innovation and better clinical care. You will work within a small, high-impact project and innovation team that supports business improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Your new role
As the Project Business Analyst, you will document and analyse current business processes within a specialist clinical environment. Working closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders, you will:

  • Run workshops, interviews and observations to understand current processes
  • Document end-to-end workflows across patient intake, scheduling, consultations, billing and records management
  • Develop clear process maps, workflow diagrams and supporting business documentation
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Capture process variations and exception scenarios
  • Work collaboratively with internal technology teams and system vendors
  • Support gap analysis and future-state process design where required
  • Help prepare the organisation for the implementation of a new clinic management system

The key focus of this three-month engagement will be documenting current clinic processes and identifying improvement opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Youll also need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst or similar
  • Strong experience documenting end-to-end business processes and operational workflows
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops, interviews and process discovery sessions
  • Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, business narratives and gap analyses
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
  • Experience supporting process improvement, system implementation or digital transformation initiatives
  • Healthcare, clinical, hospital or allied health experience is highly desirable
  • Exposure to patient scheduling, billing, referrals, patient records or practice operations would be advantageous
