Production Manager

An established beverage manufacturing company based in Penrith, NSW 2750, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the operations of new manufacturing plant to be established in the City of Logan QLD 4207.

Job Description:

The Production Manager will be in-charge of planning, organising, controlling and coordinating the production activities of our beverage manufacturing business.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work with the business to plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate the manufacturing operation;
• Develop and implement production strategies to continuously increase output and minimize costs;
• Monitor and report details of production activities in terms of quantity output, quality, and manpower requirements and performance;
• Ensure that production records are up to date;
• Plan and prepare production schedules accordingly to meet sales requirements and desired output.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team by planning the maintenance of each equipment used in the manufacturing activities;
• Active participation in the acquisition, installation and commissioning of plant and equipment;
• Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.

Applicant must have completed at least a bachelor’s degree

Applicant must at least be working as a team leader or a supervisor with a minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience specifically in a beverage manufacturing company.

Applicants who have on-the-job experience in start-up and operation of PET blow moulding, bottle filling, labelling and packing machineries is essential.

The successful applicant must be flexible and can work under pressure and must be willing to work full time and preferably on call even during weekends.

Salary: $100,000 + superannuation
