Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join a high-performing design team specialising in residential land development projects. You will be responsible for undertaking technical investigations, preparing detailed civil designs and documentation, and supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to construction.Working closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary project teams, you will assist in planning workloads, forecasting project delivery milestones, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the production of high-quality, practical and innovative engineering solutions.Key responsibilities include:

• Residential subdivision design and documentation
• Due diligence investigations, concept designs and cost estimates
• Development application planning and design inputs
• Civil engineering design and drafting coordination
• Independent design reviews and quality assurance
• Quantity take-offs and construction estimates
• Mentoring junior engineers and drafters
• Client liaison and stakeholder communication
• Collaboration with planners, designers and engineers to achieve project outcomes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive experience in civil design, particularly within residential subdivisions and land development projects
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, standards and technical guidelines
• Experience preparing concept and detailed designs, reports and engineering documentation
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

• Development application support and due diligence investigations
