Elante Homes is looking to hire a full-time permanent Construction Project Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering residential construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
You will also collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards will be an important part of the role.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related field.
-Minimum three years’ experience in construction project management.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
-Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
-Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed to ensure timely completion.
Team Management:
-Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
-Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct regular progress meetings.
Budget and Cost Control:
-Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources.
-Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Quality Assurance:
-Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet project specifications and company standards.
-Conduct regular site inspections and address construction issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
-Ensure all construction activities adhere to relevant safety regulations and company policies.
-Promote safe work practices and monitor compliance across project sites.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
-Maintain clear and open communication with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
-Provide regular project updates and address concerns, variations, and changes promptly.
Key skills and experience will include:
-Proven experience managing residential construction or custom home building projects.
-In-depth knowledge of residential construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
-Proficiency in project management and construction software, including MS Project, Procore, or similar systems.
