An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join a growing gold producer and play a key role in modernising reconciliation processes across both Open Pit and Underground operations.
Working within the Corporate Technical Services team, you will drive continuous improvement in reconciliation methodologies, data quality and reporting systems, helping to deliver accurate, timely and insightful operational data that supports business performance.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Geology.
- Demonstrated mining industry experience within Geology.
- Exposure to both Open Pit and Underground mining operations.
- Strong understanding of mine reconciliation principles and production reporting.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python or similar data analytics tools will be highly regarded.
- Experience using mining software such as Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine or similar.
Position Duties:
- Lead and improve reconciliation processes across Open Pit and Underground operations.
- Analyse production, grade and metal reconciliation data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement modern reconciliation workflows, dashboards and reporting tools.
- Work closely with Mining, Geology, Survey and Processing teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Standardise reconciliation methodologies across multiple operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analytics and digital solutions.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to improve operational performance and reporting accuracy.
