The Role
We are seeking an experienced Relief Night Manager to oversee hotel operations during overnight shifts and act as the senior decision-maker outside of regular business hours. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will lead the night team, manage guest relations, ensure operational compliance, and support the smooth running of all departments overnight. This role is ideal for a confident hospitality leader who thrives working independently and enjoys delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining high operational standards.
Skills & Attributes
- Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, or Night Management within a hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to confidently manage overnight operations independently
- Experience using hotel property management systems (Opera experience highly regarded)
- Exceptional guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage incidents, emergencies, and service recovery situations
