ELECTRICIAN - CAMP EXTENSION

Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Construction Electricians to join an upcoming camp extension project. Working alongside a small, multi-skilled construction team, this is an excellent opportunity for qualified Electricians and experienced Leading Hands to be involved in the installation and completion of electrical works across a site-based accommodation expansion.
The project is expected to run for approximately 6 months, offering consistent FIFO work on a 2:1 roster.
About the Role:
As part of the site construction team, you will be responsible for completing electrical installations and associated works to support the successful delivery of the camp extension project.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Installing electrical wiring, cable trays, conduits, switchboards and associated equipment
- Completing electrical rough-ins, fit-offs, testing and commissioning
- Installing lighting, power outlets and electrical infrastructure throughout accommodation and communal facilities
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and project specifications
- Ensuring all installations comply with relevant Australian electrical standards and site safety requirements
- Coordinating with other trades to ensure project milestones are achieved
To Be Successful:
- Previous electrical construction experience, ideally within FIFO or remote site environments
- Experience with commercial, industrial or accommodation construction projects
- Ability to confidently interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a small construction team
Required Documents:
- Trade Certificate / WA Electrical Licence
- Relevant Licences / Senior First Aid / CPR + LVR
- Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
- White card
- Drivers Licence
Further Details:
- Rate of Pay: $80 per hour + Super
- Roster: 2:1 FIFO
- Duration: Approximately 6 months
- Commencement: November
