We are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join our team and work on long-term remote projects across New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory.

This role will report directly to the Project Manager and will require you to work in remote locations that are often hot, dry and dusty.

The role will include duties, such as:

  • Interpret plans and mark out projects;
  • Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control;
  • Work with machine control to optimise the precision and time frame that works are completed within;
  • Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;
  • Undertake asbuilt surveys for project sign off and quantity verification;
  • Provide timely and accurate surveys for end of month reporting;
  • Produce clear and concise technical reports;
  • Collect, interpret and analyse survey information as required; and
  • Project administration (as required).

The successful applicant will have

  • A relevant Surveying qualification – Cert IV or higher (required);
  • Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable);
  • Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac (desirable);
  • Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance (desirable);
  • The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO/DIDO capacity; and
  • Current driver's licence.
