Are you a passionate Music Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in the art capital of Australia, Melbourne?
Prospero Teaching Australia is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a medium sized, mixed, diverse, well managed and well supported public school on a full-time permanent basis, commencing Term 3, 2025.
The school prides itself on providing a positive teaching and learning environment where students are taught by a professional, supportive, skilled, motivated and diverse teachers.
The department is small, work alongside a few other Music teaches but the school and department are growing so it’s a great time to join this school. The school offered Music programs for years 3 – 9 and in the future 10s and 11s maybe even 12’S. To inspire students the teachers deliver classroom music as well as small group instrumental lessons during school hours teaching keyboard, guitar, drums, singing and ukulele.
THE MUSIC TEACHER WILL:
- Be a NESA qualified teacher
- Teach Music across years 3 – years 9
- Be able to confident with keyboard, guitar or drums
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
THE IDEAL MUSIC TEACHER WILL:
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications
- NESA-accredited or eligible for accreditation
- Experienced in teaching Music at middle school level
- Passionate about student learning and development
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
