The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time warehouse Despatch Manager to join us at our Perth Distribution Centre, Welshpool WA. Reporting to the DC Manager, you will assist with the day to day running of the warehouse and general despatch duties, while overseeing a workforce of 11 Drivers and 7 store-people. Standard hours will be 7am - 3.30pm, Mon- Fri and is a salaried role with a highly competitive base rate.
About You:
Along with experience in a similar fleet manager or warehouse based role, you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Prior despatch and/or logistics experience
- Experience managing a medium to large team
- Experience in fleet management or warehouse management
- Strong leadership skills and ability to relate to people at all levels
- Computer literacy i.e. WMS, excel, word, outlook..
- Self-driven, proactive with a can do attitude and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritise, multi task in a fast-paced environment and a high attention to detail
- Commitment to Safety, OH&S policies and procedures i.e. Chain of responsibility
- Ability to work excellent hours of 7am – 3.30pm Mon-Fri
