We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking 3 skilled and motivated Stonemasons to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Cuts and shapes hard and soft stone blocks and masonry slabs to
construct and renovate stone structures and monumental masonry.
Job duties:
· Read and interpret technical plans, drawings and customer specifications to prepare stone components to the correct dimensions
· Checking vertical and horizontal alignment
· Cutting, shaping and polishing stones and bricks using machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces
· Experience in the use of stonemason machinery
· Designing and cutting monumental masonry and lettering
· Constructing walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks
Selection Criteria:
· At least 2 years’ stonemason experience with installing and manufacturing marble, granite and engineered stone bench tops
· Manufacture of stone including mitring, gluing, cutting and finishing
· Mitre Saw and Bridge Saw experience preferred
· Have great communication skills
· Be highly motivated, organised, reliable, punctual and have attention to detail
