EXPERIENCED PUMP FITTER WANTEDWollongong (Unanderra) | Illawarra & South Coast NSW $40 $75 per hour (depending on experience) Permanent PositionA well-established, fast-growing engineering services provider is seeking an experienced Pump Fitter to join their team based in Wollongong.This organisation specialises in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of industrial mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, motors, and gearboxes, supporting a diverse and long-standing client base across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities:

Dismantling pumps, motors, and gearboxes Assessing faults, wear, and mechanical condition of equipment Preparing, cleaning, and refurbishing components Reassembly and testing of pumps, motors, and gearboxes Measuring and recording mechanical tolerances and specifications Workshop-based repairs with on-site work as required General workshop duties and ad hoc tasks

Skills & Experience:Proven experience as a Pump Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or similarStrong knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipClear communicator with the ability to work in a team environmentStrong focus on workplace health and safety
