Assistant Manager, Taxation Services

Our client is a high performing organisation specialising in a variety of professional services including audit, tax, and advisory. With their exponential growth, they are excited to bring an Assistant Manager – Taxation Services that can provide great value and expert advice for a portfolio of high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining client engagement including client relationships
- Consulting to various divisions of the practice regarding taxation issues
- Provision of general tax advice
- Preparation of Private Binding Rulings
- Preparation of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns
- International Tax (tax advice regarding expansion offshore, Controlled Foreign Company regime etc.)
- M&A transactions / restructures
Skills and Experience
- CA / CPA Qualified – minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Tertiary qualified in commerce, accounting or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Be highly committed and have a strong work ethic
- Exceptional attention to detail and building strong relationships
- Desire to wok in corporate tax compliance and advisory in a public practice environment – prior experience within a big four or mid-tier tax division will be highly regarded
