Your new role
As a Mechanical Drafter, you will play a critical role in the delivery of mechanical building services projects, working closely with engineers, project managers and construction teams to produce high-quality design documentation and coordinated models.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing detailed HVAC and mechanical services drawings and documentation
Producing coordinated services models using industry-standard drafting software
Assisting with project design development and documentation delivery.
Coordinating mechanical services with other building disciplines
Supporting project teams through design, construction and commissioning stages
Conducting design revisions and updating project documentation
Ensuring drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
Liaising with engineers, contractors and project stakeholders throughout project delivery
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Drafter within the Building Services industry
Strong HVAC and mechanical services drafting experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM coordination software
Experience producing construction and design documentation for commercial building projects
Strong understanding of building services systems and design principles
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple project deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Highly regarded:
Experience working for a building services contractor or consulting engineering firm
Exposure to major commercial, healthcare, education or infrastructure projects
BIM modelling and multidisciplinary coordination experience
