Your new role
As Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of high-voltage and renewable energy infrastructure projects, with a focus on substations, grid connections, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the full project lifecycle from design through to commissioning and handover
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring delivery against key metrics including safety, cost, time, and quality
- Managing client relationships with utilities, developers, and investors
- Overseeing procurement, contract management, and commercial performance
- Driving risk management, compliance, and governance across all project phases
- Supporting continuous improvement and innovation across delivery processes
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in electrical infrastructure or renewable energy projects.You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering HV substations, grid connections, or BESS projects
- Strong understanding of the Australian utility and renewable energy market
- Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and complex stakeholder environments
- Solid commercial acumen, including budgeting and contract administration
- Experience working within EPC organisations
- Leadership capability to manage teams and drive delivery outcomes
- Relevant engineering qualification (Electrical preferred)
