Strategic Planner
- Lead and deliver strategic planning projects and master plans.
- Prepare Council reports and manage Gateway Planning Proposal processes.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to less experienced planners.
The successful candidate will contribute across a broad range of strategic planning initiatives, including master planning, urban design and urban realm projects, Gateway processes, Council reporting, and strategic land use planning projects.
The role suits a planner who can work independently, build team capability, and help provide continuity within a team currently undergoing restructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver strategic planning projects and master plans.
- Prepare Council reports and manage Gateway Planning Proposal processes.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to less experienced planners.
- Contribute to urban design, place-making and broader strategic planning initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Council and the community.
