SMAART is excited to partner with a fast-growing Australian education and tutoring company, seeking Entry Level Sales and Customer Service Consultants to join their growing team.
Launched in 2020, the business has a genuine start-up mentality and is continuing to grow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious, motivated and ready to build a career in sales while being part of the next stage of the business journey.
We are particularly interested in recent university graduates, students in their final year of study, and candidates from hospitality, retail or customer service backgrounds who are ready to take the next step.
What’s in it for you?
- Full-time, permanent position
- $70,000 - $80,000 + super + commission ($10,000 - $15,000 per year)
- Melbourne CBD location, just one minute from Flinders Street Station
- Monday to Sunday rotating roster, flexibility required

About the Role
You will connect with warm leads to understand the needs of students and families, recommend suitable tutoring programs and guide customers through the enrolment journey.
You will manage a busy pipeline, build genuine relationships and work towards individual and team sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle warm inbound and outbound calls, emails and texts with students and parents - NO COLD CALLING
- Follow up with warm leads and families who have completed or registered for a free trial
- Manage a busy sales pipeline and convert suitable leads into new enrolments
- Build customer relationships and confidently handle questions and concerns
- Maintain accurate CRM records and work towards activity, conversion and revenue KPIs
About You
- A recent university graduate ready to begin your career
- In your final year of university and looking for your next opportunity
- Working in hospitality or retail and ready to move into a professional sales environment
- Experienced in customer service or sales and looking for your next challenge
You will also have:
- A strong work ethic and motivation to achieve targets
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Confidence speaking with customers
- Resilience and a positive attitude
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and develop
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using technology and CRM systems
- Your own laptop, or willingness to purchase one
- Full Australian working rights (no student or working holiday visas)
