Full Job Description
Engineering Trades Australia is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor for experienced Commercial Electricians to join their team on an ongoing basis. We are looking for skilled electricians with commercial construction experience who are keen to secure long-term work across major multi-residential high-rise projects on the Gold Coast.
The current projects are in the early stages of construction, providing the opportunity to be involved from the ground up and progress through the various stages of the build. Projects are located across Burleigh, Broadbeach and Mermaid Waters.
About the Role
You will be working on large-scale multi-residential developments, carrying out commercial electrical installations from the early construction stages through to completion.
Duties will include:
- Electrical installation across new-build multi-residential developments
- Rough-in, fit-off and final fit-off works
- Installation of power, lighting and electrical infrastructure
- Cable installation and containment
- Switchboard and distribution board installation
- Testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Working from electrical plans and drawings
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician
- Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical drawings
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
- High-rise or large-scale construction experience highly regarded
Requirements
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Current CPR/LVR & First Aid
- Working at Heights, Confined Space (advantageous)
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Commercial Construction Experience
