Description
Join our Brisbane Workshop in a full-time role as a Trade Assistant providing support to our Workshop Tradesman. As a part of the team, you will be focused on ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest standard. The role is ideal for a motivated and driven individual that is looking to break into the Heavy Vehicle industry and has a passion for learning in a collaborative and supportive team.
What you will being doing:
- Assisting our team of mechanics to complete minor electrical repairs, panel beating repairs, washing our fleet, and ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Carrying out basic servicing and repairs in the yard.
- Working within the wider yard to ensure our fleet is up to a high standard – reporting any damage or repairs to the team.
- Joining a supportive and collaborative team that prides itself on the work they do and the culture they create.
- Working Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm with overtime available.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the team:
- Current HR license is required.
- Having knowledge or interest in the mechanical space is highly advantageous.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Truck and trailer driving is advantageous
- A positive mind set with the openness to learn.
