Maintenance Fitter
- Responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving fixed plant and equipment.
- Conduct mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response.
- Support safe work practices and contribute to plant upgrades.
About the opportunity:
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our fixed plant and equipment throughout the recycling operation.
- Shift Details: This role operates on an 8‑hour Day Shift from Monday to Friday plus opportunity for overtime on Saturdays
What you’ll do:
- Mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response across site equipment
- Welding, fabrication repairs as needed
- Preventative maintenance tasks and continuous improvement projects
- Assisting with planning and prioritising daily maintenance activities
- Supporting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with site procedures
- Contributing to plant upgrades and reliability improvements
What You Will Bring:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
