Appoint Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor for our clients North Coast Region, supporting the delivery of some of Queensland’s most significant transport infrastructure projects.
You’ll be embedded within an integrated project environment, working alongside TMR project teams, contractors and delivery partners on transformational projects including The Wave Stage 3 (Metro) and the Mooloolah River Interchange Upgrade.
This is an opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys being close to project delivery - navigating complex stakeholder environments, managing construction impacts and helping communities understand what’s happening around them.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead communications and stakeholder engagement strategies across key project packages
- Partner with TMR and contractor teams to deliver coordinated project communications
- Provide strategic advice on stakeholder, reputation, risk and emerging issues
- Lead construction communications, community engagement, notifications and consultation
- Build strong relationships across government, councils, contractors, businesses and communities
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced communications professional who is comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced project environments and building trusted relationships across multiple organisations.
Experience in major infrastructure, construction, transport, contractor-led or integrated project environments will be highly regarded, particularly where you’ve supported stakeholder engagement and communications during active construction.
IAP2 certification and relevant tertiary qualifications will also be viewed favourably.
Pay rates: $79.18 – $84.55 per hour, dependent on experience and suitability.
