Appoint Recruitment is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit a Senior Civil Designer to join their Brisbane Land Development team.
This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, highly experienced team and take ownership of civil design outcomes across major subdivision and master-planned community projects.
The Opportunity
You’ll work across projects from concept through to delivery, collaborating with civil engineers, project leaders, clients, authorities and other consultants.
Your role will include:
- Civil design and documentation across land development and subdivision projects.
- Detailed design across earthworks, stormwater, drainage and subdivision infrastructure.
- Producing practical, buildable design solutions.
- Working closely with clients, authorities and project stakeholders.
- Supporting a strong pipeline of work across major residential, industrial and master-planned developments.
Major Project Exposure
The Brisbane Civil team works across a diverse portfolio of major projects, including:
- Large-scale master-planned communities comprising 1,000+ residential lots.
- Major developments valued at $500M+.
- Large-scale healthcare infrastructure projects valued at $1B+.
- Major sports, education and industrial developments.
- Opportunities across residential, industrial, health, education, sports and infrastructure sectors.
About You You’ll bring strong civil design experience across land development and subdivision projects, ideally with exposure to larger-scale residential, industrial or master-planned developments.
You’ll also have:
- Strong experience with 12D and 12D Drainage.
- Solid capability across earthworks, stormwater, drainage and subdivision infrastructure.
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of design outcomes.
- An interest in developing beyond technical delivery, with an understanding of clients, business strategy, profitability and growth.
You don't need to have worked across every project type. The business places a strong emphasis on personality, attitude and cultural fit, and interstate or overseas candidates will be considered where the overall fit is right.
