About the Role
All Aces Painters Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Painter to join its team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will prepare surfaces, apply paints and other finishes, complete interior and exterior painting work, and ensure finished surfaces meet required quality and workmanship standards.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding and removing existing finishes where required
- Fill cracks, holes and surface imperfections using appropriate fillers and sealants to achieve a suitable finish
- Apply primers, sealers, paints, varnishes and other protective or decorative coatings to prepared surfaces
- Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other painting tools to achieve appropriate coverage and finish
- Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve required colours, consistency and finish
- Apply paint and coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, trims and other building surfaces in accordance with project requirements
- Protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures and fittings before commencing painting work
- Interpret job specifications, colour schedules and work requirements to determine appropriate materials and application methods
- Inspect completed work, identify imperfections and carry out touch-ups or corrective work where required
- Calculate material requirements and minimise unnecessary paint and material wastage
- Clean, maintain and safely store painting tools, spray equipment and other work equipment
- Follow safe work practices, including requirements for working at heights, hazardous substances and personal protective equipment
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification in Painting and Decorating or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Painter
- Demonstrated experience in surface preparation and interior and exterior painting
- Competence in using brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other painting tools
- Knowledge of paints, primers, sealers, coatings and appropriate application methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes
- Ability to interpret job specifications and determine appropriate materials and work methods
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a project team
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
