About the Role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support security operations, risk management, incident response, cloud security, and compliance activities across enterprise environments. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and security reviews.
- Manage cyber security incidents and vulnerability remediation.
- Support Microsoft security technologies including Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access and PIM.
- Administer cloud security controls within Azure environments.
- Coordinate penetration testing and audit remediation activities.
- Develop security documentation, reports and governance artefacts.
- Support third-party risk management and compliance programs.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Experience in cyber security operations, risk, governance and compliance.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud security and Microsoft security platforms.
- Incident response and vulnerability management experience.
- Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, Essential Eight and security best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates and Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto, F5 WAF and Proofpoint technologies.
- Experience with KQL, Microsoft Sentinel and security reporting.
- Government or enterprise security experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Cyber Security or equivalent certifications preferred
